This session was inspired by the popular pictures of the daughters in mommy’s wedding dress, but we wanted to expand on the pictures and make it an event to remember. Despite being December, Houston had not had it’s first cold front so we set out to create a beach front tea party for Jenna, who got married on the beach in Alabama, and Mary, who is three and a half. Jenna does not have many usable pictures from her wedding and we wanted to recreate the look of bridal portraits for her as well as keep Mary interested and having fun. Waters Edge was the perfect venue and despite moving the picnic from the water front due to wind we got some beautiful pictures in-front of their fire pit.
