Oh sweet summer days! This session brought back so many childhood memories for me, my siblings and I would do lemonade stands to get change and ride on our bikes up to the cornver gas station for ice cream. How day’s have changed but no so much that the simplicity and joy of being a child is lost. I applaud these twin’s mother for her creativity in making memories her children will cherish forever. Especially when it is in a beautiful gallery of images by Leah Dorr Photography. Mommies take note, sometimes the oldest of ideas can be reinvented, tweaked, and made your own to share with your lil ones. Try a DIY lemonade stand this summer and send us your finish ideas!
DIY Lemonade Stand in the Gardens Child’s Photography| Leah Dorr Photography
From the Photographer:
Zelda and Tobias set up a lemonade stand in the beautiful Ormond Memorial Musem & Gardens on a hot Florida spring afternoon! This is the second time these twins have set up a ‘stand’ in the Memorial Gardens; the last time they did it, they had a kissing booth for Valentine’s Day! Their mom always does such a great job coming up with bright and fresh ideas for their sessions, but I think this has been my favorite ‘stand’ to date! Who cares if no one bought their lemonade? These two adorable kids got to take part in a classic childhood pastime! Ice cold lemonade, sprinkle covered cookies and a coin jar that Tobias couldn’t keep his hands off of made for a perfect spring session! Come along with me while we get to relive a small piece of childhood springs/summers!
Leah Dorr Photography combines my two passions- people and photography. My approach to photography is relaxed, and fun. Whether photographing children, families, couples, weddings, or individual portraits; my focus involves you just being you! I encourage all my clients to be themselves; whether serious or silly, loud or quiet. I want your experience to be an easy, fun, and special one. My favorite images have always been the ones that capture the personality of those I photograph.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m spending time with my family and friends! I’m married to an awesome guy named John, and the mother of two spunky and sweet girls named Avery and Lucy.
