Due Date? November 24, 2015How did you find out your were expecting? This is actually quite funny. I cannot understand the basic pregnancy tests that show one or two lines indicating pregnant. I missed my cycle and I took the test 3 weeks in a row believing it was negative, until one day I got curious and picked up the directions. Sure enough I was pregnant and very delightfully shocked. This pregnancy is my second miracle. How did you tell the father? My sister taped the whole announcement. I bought a card and a few baby gifts and put it inside a gift bag. He read the card and it said, “Two people fell in love and bought a house, but four [I have a son] are moving in and the fourth is not Steve [Our mutual best friend].” Needless to say he was very excited and couldn’t believe I was pregnant.Did you find out the gender of your baby?Yes, we did. We did a gender reveal at the 3D Ultrasound with our families present. Is there a name picked out yet?Yes, her name is Amaya Marie Beal. How has pregnancy changed you as a woman?I have been pregnant before with my son, Armani. Pregnancy has changed me into a more confident mother and person. I feel more secure in my body than I have in the past. What advice do you wish you had known before getting pregnant ( even if it’s something gross)?I wish someone would have told me to pack a spray bottle in my birth bag, because I never knew how bad it would hurt to just use the restroom once a baby is born. The spray bottle was and will be my best friend again! Oh, and also to buy comfortable panties! What are your 3 must have pregnancy items? My must have pregnancy items are: 1) My cell phone (Need to take photos!!), 2) Something sweet (Cookies!) and 3) My belly support band!!What is one thing you find beautiful about being pregnant?I find it absolutely beautiful that I am carrying a life inside me. I never thought I would carry a child, let alone be blessed enough to have carried two. What would you tell someone who just found out they were pregnant?Honestly? I would say, “Good luck! Your pregnancy could be tough or easy, but remember in the end you have a baby. A child is the best miracle you will ever be able to have in your lifetime.”What are your beauty must haves while pregnant? My beauty must haves would be glowing and nourished skin (lotion), my makeup pallets, my hair products, and something that is comfortable BUT makes me feel beautiful.SHOP THE LOOK HERECan you share with our mommies where you purchased the items you wore for your maternity session?I purchased my dress from PinkBlush Maternity. My necklace and bracelet are from Claire’s. My shoes are from Payless.Words about your photographer? From the moment we met her we connected with her. She made me feel beautiful and had my boyfriend and I grinning from ear to ear. She was able to get my son to participate, laugh, smile and jump around in front of a camera. She is the reason why our photographs and memories are captured so beautifully!
