Our due date is March 2nd 2015 but we are more than likely being induced this week as the baby (much like the first) is measuring big. We currently do not know the gender which has been mostly fun and only a as frustrating at times, but we know it’s going to be well worth it for the greatest surprise ever.
The maternity session was something I knew I wanted, but this time, I wanted to do more of a boudoir type session. We are 95% sure this will be the last baby, so I really wanted to remember this time of being pregnant. I feel incredibly beautiful and empowered while pregnant and my husband happens to find it the same. There is nothing greater one can do with their body than to create a human life and even with all the aches and pains, it really is the most remarkable time.
The feeling of this session was to be mostly soft with a bit of sexy and I am more than thrilled with them! So excited to share them with you!
“Hello! My name is Catalina DeVore. I’m a fine art photographer based in Southern Maryland. I love whimsy and irony. Writing is my habit. Dancing is my vice. I’m a Foodie to a fault. I’m into happily ever after, living life out loud, and always keeping it real~ which comes in handy with my family of 6…I married my high school sweetheart, who gave me my first “big girl” film camera for our First Anniversary and 18 years later, I’ve been blessed enough to capture everything from the glowing expectant mom, to the blushing bride on her most cherished day. Our 4 littles insist on not being so little and teach me something new every day. The joy I get when I’m able to capture the love and create beautiful art, is unexplainable. As much as I love creating beautiful and timeless images, my passion lies in creating relationships and capturing those moments which tell our stories. “
