If there’s one thing we’re loving, it’s the boho mommy trend. Filled with outside natural photos and impossibly dreamy touches of gold and cream, this inspiration proves that nothing is as stately as soft palettes and using nature as your background. Tara with EarthMama Photography captured a timeless yet fresh feel while filling a must-see gallery with whimsical whites and gorgeous baby bump curves.
I didn’t have a vision as to what motherhood would be like but on March 11, 2014 one test would change two newlyweds life’s forever… we just found out we had gotten pregnant on our honeymoon (so much for waiting)!!!! We were excited and nerves all at the same time. We had no idea what we were getting into… On April 22, 2014 we got to see our little man for the first time! My eyes watered up, my husband could not stop smiling and we were lost for words. We created life and it was right there on the screen. The second I heard his heart beat I knew my life would be forever changed
I’m thankful that I had a wonderful husband next to me helping me through this crazy new process.
I’m so grateful I had a maternity and newborn session with Tara. Our maternity session was a wonderful experience. Our session was in August!… And if you live or have ever been to Georgia in the summer, you know it’s hot. Tara had gone out of her way to not only make sure our maternity session was as comfortable as it could be but that we had awesome props to add the earthy touch to the shots we we’re looking for. She came with a plan in mind and rocked every part of it. Plus, her down to earth, free loving personality keep the photo-shoot low-key and very enjoyable. On that hot summer day she captured a moment in our lives that be cherished forever. Still, even four months after my son was born I still look at these photos with amazement.
I’m so thankful I did a maternity and newborn session and more thankful that Tara was the eye behind this special moment in our lives.
When I look back, I can see that a passion for photography has always been a part of my life. I have taken pictures in my head, found inspiration in the smallest things, and loved the way a photo could capture such a fleeting moment in time. I picked up a camera when I started having babies, eager to bubble those precious stages, again in my 30’s documenting travel and adventures, and finally realized that this is a love that can’t be denied. I like keeping it simple, shooting with natural light in organic settings and capturing what’s beautiful and unique about you, your baby, your family….Where we are today will not be where our journey takes us tomorrow, and it deserves to be captured and cherished. I’m laid back, usually barefoot, and I love to laugh. When I’m not taking pictures, I am loving on my six babies, crazy hot husband, and my menagerie of animals in North Georgia.
