My enthusiasm for photography started at a very young age when my father showed me a few of his photographs one day. Growing up in the woods I would steal his 1970’s Olympus OM2N and snap photos of anything and everything I found while adventuring; mostly bugs! I took a brief photography course during high school where we were taught to develop in a dark room and I instantly fell in love with the whole process of capturing a photograph. From that point forward I developed images of landscapes and flowers to sell for home decor but nothing really came of it as I was focused on growing in my career as an recreational therapy director. After the birth of our son in July of 2014 I became inspired during his newborn session to create my own business for growing families and turn my ‘hobby’ into my profession. So I launched Good Vibes Photography from our home in December of 2014 with the help of a few friends, their babies, and a very loving and supporting husband. Business has been doing quite well so far and I thoroughly enjoy spelunking at the local antique shoppes for unique props and inspiration. Each time a new client visits my home for a session I am filled with excitement and cannot wait to produce a memory for their family; I have truly found what my passion.
